Global Citizenship week 2014
Last week pupils and staff learned more about The Commonwealth, The Commonwealth Games and South Africa through our annual Global Citizenship week. This week was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all. We enjoyed a visit from African drummers and Clyde, the mascot for the Commonwealth Games.
We also took advantage of last week's good weather and went outdoors for some Running and took part in a Woodland Workout, and indoors some Commonwealth Circuits.
We did some Art work and also some cooking. Some classes learned African songs too.
Our open afternoon on Friday was a great success and thank you to all those who came along to find out about what each of the classes had been doing. Another great week for all...thank you to all for their efforts!!
