Primary 4 learn about Glasgow Parks
Last week Primary 4 had a visit from Mr Bill McCunnie who works for Glasgow City Council’s Community Action Team. He was helping the class learn more about Glasgow parks for their topic work. He showed the class a presentation about the city parks, some of which are ‘formal’ parks with landscaping and flower beds and some, like Pollok, are country parks.
He gave the class interesting information about the history of Glasgow parks, about the staff teams who look after the parks and about which park is the biggest and the most popular.
