'World of Books' launch
World of Books was launched in classes on Friday 8th June, and many parents/carers came into school to enjoy choosing/sharing books with their children that afternoon.
We were given a very generous donation from our Parent Council to buy books to encourage our children to read for enjoyment. We have bought lots of age and stage appropriate books and they are now ready for the children to borrow. We hope that children will find books that they like in their class box, and then borrow them to read at school and at home, until they have finished them. Then they can swap their book for another one.
We thank our Parent Council for their support in setting up ‘World of Books’ and hope it will be a great success.
