Learning about fighting fire in P3/2
Primary 3/2 studied the Fire Station over the course of Term 2. We visited the Fire Station to see their equipment and to find out what happens in the event of a call-out. The Station Officer along with one of his Firemen visited Primary 3/2 to discuss fire safety, the running of the fire station and answer questions the children had prepared. This topic made a good foundation for discussing firework safety and how to make an emergency phone call.
