Primary 4 visit Glasgow City Chambers
On Monday 19th September Primary 4 had the opportunity to have a tour round Glasgow City Chambers. The class are learning about Glasgow in their topic and this visit helped them to learn about the work done by the council, for everyone in Glasgow.
It is a beautiful building with marble staircases and pillars, mosaic floors and rooms panelled with different kinds of wood. The tour guide, Mario, also told us about rubbing the marble lion's nose for good luck!
We travelled to and from the City Chambers on the underground and learned a bit about transport in Glasgow too!!! Thanks to all involved in our visit!!
