We have a second green flag!!
Congratulations to everyone at Glendale
as we now are the proud owners of two green flags.
The Eco Assessment team came to visit Glendale on May 27th. They were delighted with what they saw and heard. All the children in the Eco Committee had the opportunity to talk to the assessors, and show and talk about all the Eco activities that happen in our school. The assessors were taken on a tour of the school by Hannah, Nora and Eilidh and then they were shown a power point presentation.
The assessors were particularly complimentary about how enthusiastic and confident our children are.
The Eco Committee finished the day with a visit to the Hidden Gardens where they helped to plant a new bed. This bed has been designed to attract insects.
They also helped the artist in residence who is designing a bug hotel!
