Primary 4 visit the centre

With the Olympics in mind Primary 4 took advantage of a visit to the Glasgow Science Centre to an event called ‘Game On’.

The science show in the theatre gave the pupils an opportunity to learn about various aspects of sport and the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle. With another visiting school some children took on a variety of challenges in a ‘girls versus boys’ competition. Each challenge showed a different aspect of sport – strength, endurance, flexibility, speed and co-ordination.
3 pupils from Primary 4 were involved and one of our pupils doing the endurance challenge claimed he could have held ‘the plank’ longer than a minute!

The children then enjoyed going around the exhibits in the mall and, of course, no outing is complete without a visit to the shop.
