Hearing Dogs Assembly and Sponsored Event
With the help of the Parent Council, the children of Glendale Primary have been busy learning about Hearing Dogs this week. They have taken part in a variety of sponsored activities to raise awareness and funds for the organisation, with a plan to sponsor a dog with the money raised. Children learned about the work of Hearing Dogs at our weekly assembly, and met two dogs. Sponsored singing, a sponsored silence, and sponsored obstacle courses (to name but a few) took place on Thursday afternoon. These events were thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part, and from money collected so far, over £500 has been raised. This is fantastic and we would like to say a huge thanks to all who have, and will contribute to this. Your support is very much appreciated.
