Glendale Netball Finale
On Wednesday 13th June the after-school netballers had an inter-club match to finish off the netball season. 14 players from P7 and P6 competed against each other captained by two of the P7s. The yellow team were victorious though, having led 5 – 1 at one stage in the match, they were a bit concerned as the reds showed signs of catching up.
The yellows held on to win 7 – 5 and the captain was proud to pick up the trophy on behalf of his team. 4 players were delighted to receive additional awards with Ms Laird selecting a player of the match, there was a pupils’ player of the match and Mrs Hepburn selected her Player of the Year and Most Promising Player from the P6s. They seemed delighted with their medals.Post-match there was a summertime treat for all!
