Primary 6 visit Pollok House
To bring our Victorians topic to an end, Primary 6 visited Pollok House and took part in a Victorian Servants workshop. We were met by Mrs Mac, the housekeeper, who took us to one of the rooms in the house to be dressed as Victorian servants. Once everyone had a role, we had a tour of the house, and learned about what the various servants would have done in each part of the house. This was a fascinating visit, and really gave us an experience of how Victorian servants would have lived. Thanks to all involved.
