Leeks, onions and beetroots growing and weeded.                 Digging up the potatoes

The poor summer has meant some vegetables haven't grown very well. The birds have enjoyed the courgettes!

Although the chard looks lovely!

Nothing is wasted and the weeds are put into the compost bins - which are a favourite home for the frogs. Frog spotting always a highlight of our allotment visits!

The tomatoes have grown well in the green house and the apples seemed to grow despite the bad weather!

Every visit finishes with a tasty treat from the apple trees!!
